Ethiopia small ruminant value chain marketplace highlighted in Livestock and Fish planning meeting
A highlight of the recent Livestock and Fish review and planning meeting was the Ethiopia sheep and goat value chains exhibit. Designed to bring the ‘field’ to the meeting, some 90 people joined the structured visits to stands from different value chain actors. In recent months, Livestock and Fish value chain assessment activities have been carried out in Masaka district as part of the Uganda Smallholder Pig Value Chains Development (SPVCD) and Safe Food, Fair Food (SFFF) projects.
