The CGIAR Science Award for an Outstanding Scientific Support Team 2008

Nomination Criteria
Presented to a team of scientific support staff (composed of research assistant, field technician, laboratory aide, or equivalents) who have made an outstanding contribution to a CGIAR research program/project resulting from their cooperative effort. The collective contributions:

• may be in any research field;
  
• should be of actual or potential importance in enhancing the work of the research program/project;
  
• should be clearly attributable to outstanding team effort; and
  
• should demonstrate high standards of excellence in performance.

Nomination Requirements
Nominations should include information relevant to the award criteria as described above and should consist of:

• a brief narrative (750 words or less) of the qualifications and achievements of the team for the Award; and
  
• a brief description (250 words or less) of the role played by each member of the team.
