The CGIAR Science Award for Outstanding Scientist 2008
Nomination Criteria
Presented to a scientist/researcher who, during her/his tenure of at least five (5) years at a CGIAR Center or partner institution/organization, has made an outstanding scientific contribution in any field. The contribution should:
- be original;
- have actual or potential regional or international significance that furthers CGIAR goals; and
- demonstrate high standards of excellence.
Nomination Requirements
Nominations should include information relevant to the award criteria as described above and should consist of:
- a brief narrative (500 words or less) of the qualifications and achievements of the nominee for the Award;
- a current CV (2-4 pages) which includes most recent publications (maximum of 5 publications and not older than 3 years); reprints are not required unless requested by the Evaluation and Selection Panel.
