The CGIAR Science Award for Outstanding Partnership 2008
Nomination Criteria
To be awarded to a team of individuals from CGIAR Centers and partner institutions for outstanding scientific achievement resulting from an excellent partnership. The contribution should:
- be original;
- have actual or potential regional or international significance that furthers CGIAR goals;
- demonstrate synergy; and;
- demonstrate high standards of excellence.
Nomination Requirements
Nominations should include information relevant to the award criteria as described above and should consist of:
- a brief narrative (1000 words or less) describing the partners, the mechanism of collaboration, and the advantages of the partnership
- a brief narrative (750 words or less) of the partnership's accomplishments and how it has contributed to CGIAR goals, and,
- a list of publications (maximum of 5 publications and not older than 3 years) or other scientific products/outputs resulting from the partnership, indicating the institutional affiliation of the authors; reprints are not required unless requested by the Evaluation and Selection Panel.
